40-0-0 Ammonia Urea Sulfate Powered by Limus®
40-0-0 (Urea sulfate) is a nitrogen fertilizer. It is a rich source of nitrogen, able to meet the needs of plants throughout the biological cycle. 40-0-0 is applied superficially to the widest range of crops.
Limus® is a urease inhibitor developed and patented by BASF. Limus® combines two active ingredients, which complement each other, synergistically enhance and are more effective on the range of soil urease enzymes than a single inhibitor. Greater urea protection leads to improved nitrogen availability during critical crop growth stages for more consistent yields.
In the fertilizer 40-0-0 Ammonia Urea Sulfate Powered by Limus® nitrogen is found in uric and ammonia forms. In its ammonia form, nitrogen is essential to meet the needs during the germination period. It contains a large amount of sulfur, an element that makes it suitable for soils with high pH, contributing significantly to the uptake of nutrients from the soil.
