“We believe that if you are not directly involved in primary production, you are not able to support the producer effectively. We are producers ourselves! We cultivate about 2,500 stremmas of rice and 400 stremmas of maize in the northern part of Evros. We also maintain 20 stremmas of experimental field with cotton crop, with the aim of genetic improvement and ultimately the production of seeds of resistant varieties, capable of producing high yields and a quality end product.

In our crops, we are piloting new cultivation best practices and technologies, such as precision agriculture, aiming to apply advanced sustainable cultivation techniques that ensure low inputs and an excellent end product. We transfer the expertise we acquire directly and effectively to our partner producers throughout Greece, contributing decisively to their sustainability and the production of food for all in a sustainable way.

In addition, we create new jobs in the border region of Evros and inspire young people, and even older ones, to get involved in plant production and to develop in this field. We give the opportunity to young people who love agricultural life to settle in their homeland, but also to existing producers to participate in a collective effort to restructure the agri-food industry in Greece, which allows the full harmonization and implementation of the European Strategy “From Farm to Plate”!
