Legal & Corporate Governance Counsel
  • The Legal & Corporate Governance Counsel will act as a direct and confidential partner to the executive management, providing high-level legal support on strategic, corporate, and personal matters.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide legal opinions and strategic recommendations to executive management.
    • Support corporate governance and company law matters.
    • Conduct preliminary review of contracts, agreements, and corporate documents.
    • Handle legal matters related to real estate.
    • Provide legal support for investment plans and business projects.
    • Collaborate with internal legal departments, senior executives, and external advisors.
    • Monitor and report on legislative and case law developments affecting the company’s business and management’s personal affairs.
    • Offer legal support on personal matters of the management with discretion and confidentiality.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law (law license not required).
    • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is considered an asset.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an executive assistant or legal counsel in corporate or banking law.
    • Excellent command of digital tools and office software.
    • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

Trade Commodity Manager
  • The Trade Commodity Manager is responsible for managing, optimizing, and developing the company’s commercial activities in agricultural and livestock products.
    This role combines market analysis, procurement, risk management, and negotiation, ensuring that raw materials are purchased and sold under the best market conditions while maintaining supply security and profitability targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor international and domestic markets for agricultural and livestock raw materials.
    • Analyze price trends, supply and demand dynamics, exchange rates, and transportation costs.
    • Track weather conditions, geopolitical factors, and futures markets to support informed commercial decisions.
    • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, brokers, and traders both in Greece and abroad.
    • Evaluate performance and profitability by product and supplier.
    • Negotiate and execute purchase contracts for agricultural products, animal feed, and fertilizers.
    • Manage the timing of purchases and sales based on price forecasts and inventory needs.
    • Monitor price exposure and apply hedging tools (contracts, forwards, futures).
    • Manage risks in line with company policy and profitability goals.
    • Prepare market reports, trade position summaries, and performance analyses for management.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commodities trading or raw material procurement.
    • Excellent command of Greek and English (both written and spoken).
    • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
    • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Solid understanding of commodity markets and hedging/risk management techniques.
    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Soft1) and trading platforms.
    • Experience in hedging, futures markets, and risk management.
