Field Day: Cotton Varieties at the Forefront

Direct interaction with Cotton Seed Agro varieties

With great success, the first Field Day of Cotton Seed Agro varieties by Agrohellas was held in a producer’s field in Adendro, Thessaloniki, where the Agro A67, Agro A74, and Agro A94 varieties are cultivated.

As part of the event, presentations were delivered by the company’s scientific and technical staff. Dr. Konstantinos Tzandarmas, Geneticist, analyzed the progress of the crops and the first results from their application in the field.

Subsequently, the Seed and Cotton Technicians, Mr. Argyris Karpetis, Mr. Georgios Kokogiannidis, and Mr. Dimitris Gousias, presented in detail the characteristics of the varieties, focusing on the yields and the advantages they offer to producers.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to closely observe the development of Cotton Seed Agro varieties under real cultivation conditions and to directly interact with the product. These varieties are the result of intensive research and extensive agronomic trials conducted by Agrohellas’ R&D department, aiming to meet the modern needs of Greek producers.

A constructive dialogue followed with participants, addressing the prospects of these specific varieties and the future of Greek cotton cultivation. Attendees had the chance to exchange views and discuss with company representatives the new varieties and their benefits.

Agrohellas warmly thanks all participants and remains committed to continuing its investment in innovative solutions and products that contribute to the development and strengthening of Greek cotton cultivation.
