Sugar beet pulp is a sugar by-product obtained by extracting the sugar contained in the root of sugar beet with water. It is fibrous and rich in energy as it provides approximately 15% more metabolizable protein than corn. It has a high nutritional value and is available in pellet form.

The use of sugar beet pulp is the only safe way to add energy to the diet when we reach the limit of starch utilization, because it does not contain starch but very digestible cellulose. It has excellent nutritional value for all categories of animals: ruminants, pigs and horses.
