Maize gluten is a by-product of the wet milling process. It is a derivative resulting from the processing of the starch, glucose and dextrin extraction process from maize. It contains parts of maize husk with gluten fractions, traces of starch and minerals. It is a raw material used to enrich animal feed, increasing the protein content.
