Presentation of the New Cotton Seed Agro Varieties.

The presentation event for the new Cotton Seed Agro cotton varieties was successfully held at the Grecotel Larissa Imperial hotel. This event was a significant opportunity for the company to showcase its new, modern genetic material, which ensures high yields and resilience to climate change.

The new varieties were developed in Greece, tailored to the needs of Greek farmers and the country’s unique climatic and soil conditions. Through intensive research and trials, the Cotton Seed Agro varieties were created, offering excellent adaptability and production stability:

• Cotton Seed Agro A67 – The ideal choice for maximum quality and yield
• Cotton Seed Agro A74 – Resilience and consistent production
• Cotton Seed Agro A94 – High adaptability and efficiency

The event began with a presentation of the company by Ms. Valentini Katritzidaki, Head of the Marketing Department, who highlighted the company’s strategy and vision for developing innovative solutions in cotton cultivation.

Next, Dr. Konstantinos Tzantarmas, Geneticist and Head of the Research & Development Department, analyzed the scientific and technical aspects of developing new genetic material, as well as the R&D department’s research initiatives aimed at improving cotton varieties.

Mr. Argyris Karpetis, Cotton Seed Technician, introduced the new Cotton Seed Agro varieties, explaining their characteristics, advantages, and the exceptional yields achieved despite the challenges of the previous growing season.

The event brought together the company’s clients and partners, who honored the presentation with their active participation, engaging in meaningful discussions about the future of cotton cultivation in Greece.
