Polmasil Buchneri
Polmasil Buchneri is a microbial additive designed for silage of roughage with an increased risk of the so-called secondary fermentation. Lactobacillus buchneri used in Polmasil Buchneri significantly increases the stability of the silage under aerobic conditions. Intended for ensiling maize, alfalfa, grass and moist corn grain.
The ability of Lactobacillus buchneri to prevent secondary fermentation is due to the fact that in the later stages of fermentation, this bacterium, under anaerobic conditions, ferments lactic acid into acetic acid, ethanol and 1,2 – propandiol (propylene glycol), which has antifungal activity. Polmasil Buchneri is an inoculant that allows you to effectively and inexpensively achieve aerobic silage stability.
Bacterial strains: Lactobacillus buchneri
Concentration: 2×1011 cfu / g
Dosage: 100gr/100-200 tons
The inoculant must be stored in a cool and dry place and used completely after opening the package. Once dissolved, the inoculant must be used within 12 hours. The water for the preparation of the working solution with the inoculant must be free of chlorine and hydrogen peroxide and the temperature must not exceed 35 °C.
